During the conference, you will be able to interact with about two thousand participants from academia, research institutes, industry and governmental agencies from all over the world in this truly international event.
The city of Las Vegas, as one of the world’s busiest tourist destinations, offers just about everything – spectacular shows, shops and restaurants, theme park attractions, and the natural beauty of the surrounding lakes, parks and canyons.
The Mirage Hotel, located on Las Vegas Strip, is recommended as the main hotel of the Conference. Many of the guest rooms offered are available with breathtaking views of the tropical pool, majestic mountains or Las Vegas Strip.

A total of 4039 individuals from academia, research institutes, industry and governmental agencies from 67 countries submitted contributions, and 1318 papers and 232 posters were included in the program.

The Conference features 17 Tutorials that will take place from Saturday 21 to Sunday 22 July 2012, and parallel technical sessions that will run from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 July 2012. Poster proposals submission is still open. You are welcome to submit a poster proposal until the 15th of April 2012 and join the more than 1500 participants expected from 40 countries.

A Keynote Address on "Human Side of Service Engineering for a Smart Planet" will be offered by Dr. James ("Jim") C. Spohrer (IBM Innovation Champion and Director of IBM University Programs worldwide).
